Roger Rossi

Roger Rossi is a full time artist living in Forest Hills, NY painting in oil both in his studio and in plein air. Roger is responsible at the Sheldon Gallery to create paintings capitalizing on the city of Newport for both the visitors and residents of the area.

Roger's business career focused on all aspects of the luxury menswear field.  He is a resident member of Salmagundi with duties on the Art Committee plus heads the Salmagundi Plein Air programs for the entire membership. Roger has served on the Boards of Salmagundi, American Artists Professional League, Allied Artists of America, Audubon Artists, and the Washington Square Outdoor Art Shows.  He is also a member of Oil Painters of America and the American Impressionist Society.

To capture his images for paintings. Roger travels extensively with Fine Art Connoisseur magazine to Europe and Russia plus attends the annual FACE Conventions. He also travels with Plein Air Magazine to their conventions, Publisher's Invitationals and trips to Cuba and New Zealand.
